Hope for foster youth.
Kathliene Sundt became a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for foster youth because she hated the idea of a child being alone. As a CASA she saw how much a tutor impacted the lives of these kids. How it just took one person, believing in them, advocating for them, to create a lasting change. She also saw that there just aren’t enough tutors, and they aren’t typically paid. She wanted to change this. That’s how Xtreme Youth began. This film is her story, paralelled with the story, struggle, and hope for foster youth in our society.
